I made my debut on Radio 3 at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation. The show aired on a Sunday evening competing with Dallas on the local TV station. I remember being told that my listenership would be rather limited as the country used to come to a grinding halt, with viewers glued to their TV sets. I was pleasantly surprised that I got a good following. I am very passionate about being able to play good rock music In May 2016 I joined LM Radio where I presented the Early Breakfast Show on a Friday and also two more shows, on Saturday morning and early evening. I left LM Radio in March 2017.
I had a life of travel , twenty five years in aviation from bush flying to corporate to airline where I retired as a Captain. Then twenty five years as a tour operator and national guide on wildlife safaris around Southern Africa . Saw Southern Africa from the skies and then on the ground . Now happily retired on the East Coast with my Companion Mr Comet .

In today’s modern world, as consumers we are used to supermarkets having a wide range of fruit and vegetables on shelf throughout the year. On the one hand, many of these are imported and not necessarily in season in our country at that time. So read the label, to make sure it’s grown in South Africa. The other side of the coin is that agricultural developments and farming practices are […]
CRIMINALS HAVE A NEW TARGET IN SOUTH AFRICA – AND THEY’RE LOOKING FOR HOMES THAT HAVE THEM South Africans are being warned that criminals are increasingly targeting homes, galleries and institutions for valuable artworks. What used to be rare has now become more frequent, with thieves carrying out both planned heists and opportunistic break-ins. This is according to Gail Bosch, Product Head at iTOO Artinsure, who noted that art crime […]
